CHC Navigation Introduces CTS-M100: Cost-Effective Total Station for Streamlined Surveying Workflows
Shanghai, China – November 14, 2025 – CHC Navigation (CHCNAV), a global provider of geospatial positioning technologies, announces the CTS-M100, a cost-effective total station designed to meet a wide range of daily surveying and construction needs. Built on CHCNAV’s proven instrument platform, the CTS-M100 offers dependable angular measurement accuracy, efficient electronic distance measurement (EDM) performance, and straightforward operation in diverse field conditions.
Built for continuous field use, the CTS-M100 features an 8-hour battery life for a full day of operation. Its dual-face alphanumeric keyboards with backlighting ensure clear operation in various lighting conditions. An integrated laser plummet facilitates quick and precise instrument setup, minimizing downtime on site. The instrument is rated IP54 for resistance to dust and water.
Precise Measurement Capabilities
The CTS-M100 delivers 2″ angular accuracy and supports both prism-based and reflectorless measurements. With a reflectorless range of up to 1,500 meters and prism measurement capability to 5,000 meters, it provides millimeter-level results suitable for topographic surveys, site layout, and land division projects. Its measurement speed—less than 0.3 seconds for tracking—enables rapid data capture without compromising accuracy.
Designed for Field Productivity
Flexible Data Management
The CTS-M100 includes onboard storage for up to 140,000 measurement points, with support for external USB devices up to 128 GB, accommodating long-term projects and extensive field campaigns. Its onboard field software guides survey tasks and simplifies workflows, helping operators work efficiently without additional external controllers.
