◀◀  Key Selling Points  ▶▶

◆◆ Advanced Radar Technology:

Utilizes 24GHz Doppler radar to measure the speed and size of raindrops, providing highly accurate precipitation data.

Capable of distinguishing between different types of precipitation (rain, snow, hail) based on the speed of falling droplets.

◆◆ High Accuracy and Resolution:

Offers a resolution of 0.1mm and an accuracy of ±10% for liquid precipitation, ensuring reliable and precise measurements.

Long-term calibration with tipping bucket rain gauges in natural conditions guarantees consistent performance.

◆◆ Maintenance-Free Operation:

No need for heating devices to prevent freezing or worry about obstructions like leaves affecting the sensor's performance.

Designed for long-term use without the need for frequent maintenance.

◆◆ Robust and Durable Design:

Constructed with ASA material and rated at IP65 protection level, the sensor is resistant to harsh weather conditions, including extreme temperatures (-40℃ to +70℃) and high humidity (0-100%).

Compact and lightweight design (Ø105 * 192mm, 0.45kg) makes it easy to install and integrate into various systems.

◆◆ Versatile Communication Options:

Supports multiple communication interfaces, including RS485 and RS232, and protocols like ModBus, NMEA-0183, and ASCII, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of systems.

◆◆ Low Power Consumption:

Operates on a low voltage range of DC12-30V with a current consumption of 120mA@12V, making it energy-efficient and cost-effective.

Installation
Installation notice:
-Installation height above the ground 2 meters -Distance to road carriageway at least 10m -Distance to trees or bushes at the height of the sensor at least 10m -When selecting the installation location please take care to position the device at a suitable distance from other systems incorporating a 24GHz radar sensor, such as traffic counting devices on overhead gantry signs. Otherwise cross effects and system malfunctions may occur. In the final analysis, the distance to other measuring systems also depends on their range of coverage and signal strength.
